Tomato & Olive Tofu Spread
  For this recipe use House Tofu Steak Original

INGREDIENTS: Makes 3 cups

  1(19-oz) package House Tofu Steak Original, drained  
  1 cup black olives, chopped  
  1 cup green onions, chopped  
Seasonings:
  1/3 cup tomato paste  
  2 Tbsp. lemon juice  
  2 Tbsp. maple syrup  
  1/4 tsp. ground dill seeds  
  2 tsp. onion powder  
  1 tsp. garlic powder  
  1/2 tsp. paprika  
  1/4 tsp. white pepper  
  1/2 tsp. salt  
  1/2 cup egg-less mayonnaise or regular mayonnaise  
  1/3 tsp. butter extract, optional  
  1/4 tsp. white pepper  
  1/2 tsp. salt  
 



DIRECTIONS:

 

1) Place Tofu between several layers of paper towels, and squeeze out all excess moisture.

2) In a food processor, add Tofu and all ingredients for seasonings. Mix until smooth.

3) In a medium size bowl, transfer Tofu and seasoning mixture. Add olives and green onions and mix. Serve as a spread for crackers or vegetables or serve as a sandwich spread.
