Caramelized Tofu

Savory caramelized tofu served with rice and salad for a quick, easy, and healthy lunch.

Cooking Directions

  • Drain and press tofu and cut into rectangles. Heat oil in frying pan and cook tofu together with sesame seeds. Cook for 2-3 minutes on both sides.
  • Add soy sauce and maple syrup. Cook for another 5-8 minutes flipping half way through, stir well.
  • Serve together with rice, legumes or salad.

  • 1 Tbsp. sesame seeds
  • 1 Tbsp. soy sauce
  • 1 Tbsp. maple syrup (or honey)
  • Olive oil, for frying
