Holiday Charcuterie Board w/ Organic Grilled Tofu & Chimichurri Sauce

This holiday season, let’s make tofu on cheese boards a thing! Protein-packed marinated & grilled tofu with a bright flavorful Chimichurri sauce is the perfect add-on to any Charcuterie board!

Cooking Directions

Tofu & Marinade

  • Tofu Marinate: Mix all ingredients in a bowl
  • Tofu Prep: Remove tofu from package, drain liquid, and place in a microwave-safe container
  • Microwave tofu for 2 minutes and drain excess liquids
  • Marinate tofu for 40 min in the refrigerator (rotating tofu in the marinade every 10 mins)
  • Pre-heat grill to medium-high heat (400 degrees Fahrenheit)
  • Grill Tofu for 3 minutes on each side, sliced and serve with (or topped) with Chimichurri sauce

Chimichurri Sauce

  • Chimichurri Sauce: Combine all the ingredients in a bowl, whisk and list sit for at least 10 mins (up to 24hrs)

Ingredients

Tofu & Tofu Marinate

  • 1 Pack of House Foods Organic Firm Tofu
  • 1/2 Cup balsamic vinegar
  • 1/3 Cup soy sauce
  • 1/3 Cup olive oil
  • 4 Cloves garlic, finely minced
  • 1 Tsp. fresh oregano
  • 1/4 Tsp freshly cracked black pepper

Chimichurri Sauce

  • 2 Tbsp. finely chopped shallot
  • 3 Cloves garlic, finely chopped
  • 1/8-1/2 Tsp red chili flakes
  • 1/2 Cup red wine vinegar
  • 1/2 Cup finely chopped cilantro
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped parsley
  • 1 Tbsp. finely chopped fresh oregano
  • 1 Tsp kosher salt
  • 1 Cup olive oil
