Pasta Perfecto with Sausage and Mushrooms

Spaghetti shirataki pasta is tossed with sausage and mushrooms in a creamy white sauce.

Cooking Directions

  • Rinse and drain Tofu Shirataki noodles well. Pat dry using paper towels. Put in a microwave-safe bowl and heat in microwave for 1 minute. Drain excess liquid and pat dry. Cut noodles to manageable size.
  • Take sausage out of its casing and break up into small pieces in pan.
  • Cook sausage pieces over medium heat until browned.
  • Add mushrooms, red pepper and water in a separate pan and sauté until mushrooms have browned. Combine with sausage.
  • Add heavy cream and parmesan and mix thoroughly, then add noodles.


  • 3 pkgs of House Foods Tofu Shirataki Spaghetti
  • 1 Italian sausage, removed from casing and broken up
  • 2 cups mushrooms (any variety) sliced small
  • 2-3 Tbsp. water
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 3 Tbsp. parmesan cheese (finely ground)
  • 1/3 cup red pepper, thinly sliced
  • salt and pepper to taste
