Bake tofu for 10 minutes, flip, and bake another 10 minutes.
At this time, coat onions in olive oil, salt, and pepper. Place on another sheet pan. Add the onions to oven, while you remove pan with tofu and spoon BBQ sauce on each strip, liberally. Bake tofu for another 10 minutes (and you can add a little more sauce at end of baking if you’d like), along with the onions. Remove and serve together.
