Pre-marinated tofu is topped with fresh cabbage slaw and served on slider buns for a perfect snack or appetizer.
Whisk together sugar, vinegar, salt and sesame oil and pour over cabbage, carrots and green onions. Combine mixture and set aside.
Combine mayonnaise, lemon juice, garlic powder and salt and pepper in a small bowl. Chill until ready to serve sliders.
Slice tofu in half horizontally, then again vertically, and once more horizontally, making 8 equal squares. Add to a large non-stick pan and cook until heated through. Add leftover sauce from package and heat an additional minute.
To assemble sliders:
Add a dollop of spread to each side of the slider bun. Place a slice of tofu and top with pickled cabbage mixture. Continue with remaining tofu and buns and serve.
