Spring Rolls with Spicy Garlic Tofu Cutlet

Fresh veggies, shirataki noodles and marinated tofu make for a tasty, quick and easy appetizer

Cooking Directions

  • Prepare Shirataki noodles according to package instructions, set aside.
  • Pour water into a shallow dish and set aside. Prepare spring roll by dipping rice paper in the water for a few seconds and transfer to a damp cutting board, making sure it is not wrinkled or overlapping.
  • Add a small handful of Shirataki noodles and layer the carrots, cucumber, bell pepper, and a few pieces of tofu on top. Gently fold over once, tuck in edges on both sides, and continue rolling until it is sealed.
  • Transfer to plate, seam side down, underneath a damp paper towel to keep fresh. Repeat with remaining filling and rice paper. Serve with your choice of dipping sauce.

  • 1 pkg. House Foods Tofu Cutlet Spicy Garlic, cut into strips
  • 1 pkg. House Foods Traditional Shirataki noodles
  • 1 pkg. rice paper spring roll wrappers
  • ½ cup cucumber, cut into matchsticks
  • 1 red bell pepper, seeded and cut into matchsticks
  • ½ cup carrots, cut into matchsticks
