TOFU STIR FRY

The Tales of Tofu Present: What Can Tofu Do? A colorful mix of crisp carrots, red & yellow peppers, snow peas, and green onions - tossed in a mix of garlic, ginger, miso, honey, sesame oil, and soy sauce. Bring in the yummy firm tofu, a confetti of toasted sesame seeds and this tofu stir-fry is a GAME-WINNER for the whole family!

Cooking Directions

  • Drained, pressed, and cut tofu into 1/2" pieces.
  • In a medium bowl add soy sauce, vinegar, sesame oil, miso, honey, and dissolved corn starch. Whisk all ingredients together.
  • Heat 2 Tbsp of the canola oil on high heat. Add Tofu and cook 5-6 minutes on each side until golden brown. Immediately add to the sauce and prep your vegetables. (This step can be done the day before or no less than 30 mins.)
  • In the same skillet or wok on medium add the remaining canola oil. Add the onions, cook for 2 minutes or until soft, and then the ginger and garlic. Next, add the carrots and peppers, and cook for 5 minutes. Add a splash of water to steam. Then snow peas and cook for another minute till the vegetables are crisp.
  • Lastly, add the tofu and sauce and stir in till all incorporated, cook for 1-2 minutes. Sprinkle with sesame seeds. Serve immediately over rice. Enjoy!

  • 1 Pkg. House Foods Tofu Organic Firm
  • 2 Tbsp + 1 Tbsp Canola or Vegetable Oil (Divided)
  • 3 Tbsp Soy Sauce
  • 1 Tbsp Rice Vinegar
  • 2 Tbsp Garlic (Minced) 2-3 Cloves
  • 2 Tsp Ginger (Minced)
  • 1 Tbsp Toasted Sesame Oil
  • 1 Tbsp Honey
  • 1 Tbsp Miso Paste (Thinned w/ 1 Tbsp Water)
  • 1 Tsp Cornstarch (Dissolved w/ 2 Tbsp Water)
  • 4 Green Onions (Cut in Slices)
  • 1 Large Red Pepper (Remove Seeds - Cut Into Slices)
  • 1 Large Yellow Pepper (Remove Seeds - Cut Into Slices)
  • 1 Carrot (Julienne)
  • 1 1/2 Cup Snow Peas
  • 1/4 Cup Sesame Seeds
