Cooking Directions

  • Heat 1 tsp. olive oil in a pan on medium heat, add shallots and sweat until they become translucent.
  • Add crushed tomatoes and stir in tomato paste, 1 Tbsp. of parsley and the remaining dry spices.
  • Add vegetable stock and let the mixture simmer on low heat for 20 mins.
  • Rinse and strain Shirataki noodles and add to the sauce and let cook for 3-5 mins.
  • To a separate heated pan, add 2 tsp. of olive oil and sear extra firm tofu slices until slightly brown on both sides.
  • Pour noodles into 2 bowl and top each with 2 crispy tofu slices. Garnish with the remaining chopped parsley.

  • 1 pkg House Foods Tofu Shirataki Fettuccine shape noodle
  • 1 pkg House Foods Tofu Extra Firm, sliced into 4 strips
  • 2 tsp crushed red chili flakes
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 Tbsp minced shallots
  • 1/4 tsp garlic salt
  • 2 Tbsp tomato paste
  • 1 cup vegetable stock
  • 1 (16 oz) can crushed tomatoes
  • 1 Tbsp + 1 tsp chopped parsley
  • salt and pepper to taste
