Chipotle Maple Glazed Tofu

With a waffle iron and five simple ingredients, enjoy the sweet and smoky flavors of this grilled tofu

Cooking Directions

  • Cut tofu in half horizontally, and then slice each piece in half.
  • In a small bowl combine maple syrup, onion powder, salt and chipotle powder.
  • Place tofu in a sealable bag with maple chipotle rub. Let marinade for at least 15 minutes; while tofu is marinating, preheat waffle or grill iron to medium high heat.
  • Once tofu is done marinating, spray cooking oil onto waffle/grill iron. Add tofu and close iron, cook until browned. Serve hot alone, with a salad or in a sandwich.

  • 1 pkg. House Foods Tofu Firm or Extra Firm, drained and pressed
  • 2 Tbsp. maple syrup
  • 1 tsp. onion powder
  • ½ tsp. salt
  • ¼ tsp. chipotle powder
