Gochujang-Tofu Stir Fry with Ramen

Tofu stir-fry with spicy Korean-style gochujang sauce served with ramen for a quick and easy meal.

Cooking Directions

  • In a large skillet, sauté the onion, and garlic for 4-5 minutes, until fragrant.
  • Add in carrots and let cook while preparing the sauce.
  • In a bowl, whisk together all the sauce ingredients. Make sure that the water is hot so that everything dissolves easily.
  • Add the tofu and optional chopped veggies to the pan, then pour in the sauce. Stir to incorporate and toss as you would a stir-fry.
  • Once the veggies are tender, toss everything with a drizzle of sesame oil to taste, then remove from heat. Serve warm and enjoy!
  • To serve: pair with prepared rice or noodles!

Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. House Foods Tofu Firm or Extra Firm
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 medium carrots, diced
  • 2 cups chopped veggies (optional)
  • 1-2 Tbsp. sesame oil

Sauce:

  • 3 Tbsp. gochujang (Korean red pepper paste)
  • 3 Tbsp. boiling water
  • 3 Tbsp. soy sauce
  • 1 Tbsp. rice vinegar
  • 1 Tbsp. sriracha / sweet chili sauce
  • ½ tsp. red chili flakes optional, or adjust to taste
