Orange Tofu

A dish that’s tangy and full of orange, ginger and chili flavors

Cooking Directions

  • Drain and press tofu. Cut tofu into one inch pieces and set aside.
  • In a container, combine all ingredients, except tofu, and mix well.
  • Combine tofu and orange sauce and refrigerate for at least 30 min.
  • Once tofu is done marinating, place tofu with sauce in a large pot/pan (brazier) set to medium heat.
  • Cover tofu with lid and let it simmer for 20 minutes.
  • Uncover tofu, increase heat and stir tofu continuously for 5 minutes.
  • Remove tofu from heat and place in a warmer and serve with rice.


  • 1pkg. House Foods Extra Firm or Super Firm Cubed Tofu, drained and pressed
  • ¼ tsp chili flakes
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • 3 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1½ tsp. ginger, grated
  • 1 Tbsp. cider vinegar
  • 1 Tbsp. tamari
  • ¼ cup water
  • ½ cup orange juice
