Tofu Deviled Egg

Skip the mayo, this deviled egg gets it’s creaminess from tofu.

Cooking Directions

  • In a large pot, boil eggs for about 10-15 minutes. (Add salt or 1 tsp. of olive oil to prevent egg shell from sticking to egg)
  • Drain, cool, peel and cut eggs (horizontally).
  • Remove yolk from egg and put into seperate bowl, adding all other ingredients. Mix well.
  • Mix thoroughly and spoon about 1 Tbsp. back into egg white.
  • Continue with remaining eggs and sprinkle with paprika for garnish.

**For less cholesterol, use only ½ egg yolk.


  • ½ pkg. House Foods Tofu Medium Firm
  • 1 dozen eggs
  • 2½ tsp. dijon mustard
  • ¼ tsp. Tabasco sauce
  • 1 Tbsp. minced onion
  • dash paprika
  • dash salt and pepper
