Slice tofu into 6 even slices. Heat a pan with 1 Tbsp of sesame oil over medium-high heat. Add tofu slices to the pan once hot. Cook on each side for 4-5 minutes, or until golden brown. Add tofu to a separate plate.
Reduce heat to medium-low and pour teriyaki sauce into the pan. Add the tofu back in to the pan and cover them in the sauce.
To assemble:
Build the sandwich with herbed tofu dip, teriyaki tofu, red onions, red pepper, and lettuce.
